November 20, 2009: CPT Entertainment Inc. is proud to announce that former NASCAR star and SPEED TV personality, Ken Schrader, will be attending the 3rd annual CPT Racing Experience event at the Western Fair Agriplex this January. Schrader will be on hand for a general question and answer period and autograph session on Sunday, January 17, 2010. Private “Meet and Greet” opportunities will also be made available (VIP “Meet and Greet” tickets go on sale Friday, November 27th).

Well known as a competitor willing to race just about anything with wheels, Ken Schrader has enjoyed great success at many levels, including 20 years at NASCAR’s highest level (now known as NASAR Sprint Cup). Schrader was NASCAR’s Rookie of the Year in 1985 and went on to win four races, all with Hendrick Motorsports between 1988 and 1991.

Along with driving part time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA RE/MAX Series, Schrader frequently races at local tracks across North America. He races in many divisions, and has been successful in everything he’s stepped into. He owns a dirt late model and dirt open wheel modified car and raced at Ohsweken Speedway in Ontario this past June.

A savvy businessperson, Schrader also owns two race tracks (I-55 Raceway in Missouri, and Macon Speedway in Illinois, where he is co-owner along with Kenny Wallace, Tony Stewart, and local Promoter Bob Sargent). He is also the owner of Ken Schrader Racing and occasionally appears as a very popular television analyst on “This Week in NASCAR” on the Speed TV.

General admission tickets to the show are available now, with advance discounts available to those who buy online. VIP Ken Schrader “Meet & Greet” ticket packages will go on sale to the general public November 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m.

Entering its third year, the CPT Racing Experience is a unique, family-friendly motorsports-themed trade show that will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 16 and from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 17. The event features a wide variety of dynamic and interactive attractions and serves as the lone event of its kind in Southwestern Ontario.
