March 10/08: Another dynamic opportunity has been added to the list of prizes for the upcoming CPT Racing Experience. Thanks to a new partnership between CPT Entertainment Inc. and Happy Hour Stock Car Driving Experience, one guest and one exhibitor at the CPT Racing Experience will each win the chance to get behind the wheel of a real stock car.
“We’ve done our best to make the event at the Convention Centre interactive, fun and entertaining,” said Kevin Bulmer of CPT Entertainment. “But there are some things you have to take to a race track to truly experience. This is one of them. We’re very excited to be able to offer this.”
Happy Hour Stock Car Driving Experience provides half-day and full-day sessions at local stock car racing tracks. Each program gives its participants a hands-on introduction to stock car racing, including off-the-track instruction and a real in-car experience. Created to be a fun and informative outing instead of a competitive driving school, Happy Hour Stock Car Driving Experience is a terrific opportunity for corporate outings or groups of friends.
In the last several years, Happy Hour has grown in popularity under the instruction of Doug Capes, a veteran of driving schools at prestigious tracks such as Bristol Motor Speedway, Darlington Raceway and Michigan International Speedway.
“People that come out for a Happy Hour day love working with Doug and his team,” said Bulmer. “He has a very natural way with people, and he goes out of his way to keep everyone engaged, comfortable and happy.”
Guests of the CPT Racing Experience will have the chance to try Happy Hour for themselves. Ballots may be filled out at the CPT Entertainment display at the event. Another package will be drawn from the exhibitors supporting the show.
The Happy Hour Stock Car Experience car (a CASCAR-style Late Model stock car) will be on display at the event, with instructor Doug Capes set to be on hand throughout the weekend.
