January 28/08: The CPT Entertainment Inc. has entered into a partnership with London’s only full-city community newspaper, The Londoner, to produce a printed program based around the upcoming CPT Racing Experience (March 15 & 16 at the London Convention Centre). The insert, to be published as part of The Londoner on March 12, 2008, will assist in increasing awareness of the various types of motorsports in Southwestern Ontario (and beyond), while at the same time providing a dynamic opportunity for event exhibitors, sponsors or businesses related to racing to get their message out to a vast audience.
The Londoner, published every Wednesday, is delivered to 106,000 houses each week and has a readership of approximately 200,000 people. As part of its commitment to the CPT Racing Experience, The Londoner is offering discounted advertising rates to any business associated with the event.
“This is a fantastic opportunity, and we’re grateful to the management and staff of The Londoner for supporting this concept,” said Kevin Bulmer of CPT Entertainment. “Anyone involved in Canadian motorsports knows that it can be a challenge to get the attention of mainstream media. This commitment from The Londoner confirms our original thought that producing the CPT Racing Experience would help in creating some new exposure for the racing community.”
The event program, initially designed as a means of educating the public about what to expect at the CPT Racing Experience, may also serve as a platform for communicating to existing and potential race fans, teams and sponsors. Exhibitors, event sponsors or any business related to the industry wishing to put their message in front of that market may want to consider participating.
“We can create packages for businesses that include some exposure in The Londoner,” said Bulmer. “With a minimal additional investment, an exhibitor, sponsor or promotional partner could greatly expand their reach by being involved.”
